The American people are tired of deceit, lies, and decisions lacking common sense. The insinuation that the Democratic Party would have based all policy decisions on data-driven studies is hypocritical. The controversial DEI programs and appointments without merit or competence were central to the failure of the Biden administration. Despite the hundreds of government agencies and data gathering, nothing was ever done to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The ultimate data-driven decision was delivered by the American people on election day, November 5th, 2024.
Mr. Shaw’s analogy of President Trump's second term to the 1970s jangle punk rock song “Ignoreland” is bizarre. Legitimizing the lyrics of a song written by a confused college drop-out, punk rocker, and self-described “queer artist” from the 1970s is funny. There has never been a more transparent administration and data driven government than the current Trump administration. At least this administration is taking action to solve issues and not just making excuses. The DOGE initiative is fact-based and refreshing to the American people, who want more efficiency, less taxation, and less fraud. I’m sure Elon Musk didn’t put rockets into space without a little data analysis!!
But like Mr. Shaw said, the lyrics from “Ignoreland” say it all???
“Up the republic, my skinny ass, TV tells a million lies…The paper’s terrified to report anything that isn’t handed on a presidential spoon…I’m just profoundly frustrated by all this…”
Maybe a better analogy would have been the 70s song “We Are the Champions” by Queen?
