Noise Issues Need Enforcement

Bravo, Councilor Gray. You are clearly on the right track here. I support your efforts and thank you for keeping your campaign promise. I am proud to have supported the right person to protect the most serious threat to quality of life for all of us suffering from this scourge! 
While on City Council, I worked hard to initiate a strong noise ordinance. Following this it was watered down as you outline, in my opinion, due to the realtor lobby looking to promote unregulated short-term rental businesses in single-family neighborhoods, along with the desire to not enforce noise complaints by our police, resulting in the ridiculous non-valid noise complaints from suffering Marco taxpayers. We need better! 
Hopefully, you will get support from six other of our elected representatives to do the right thing for us and make enforcement a true objective of your ordinance. Ringing the front doorbell and walking away is a joke!
