My Endorsement of Jason Bailey

I am pleased to endorse Jason Bailey for Marco Island City Council. As a longtime resident and construction business owner, Jason brings a practical understanding of our community and the decisions that shape its future. His eight years on the Planning Board, including five as chair, reflect a substantial commitment to public service. His fellow board members repeatedly selected him to lead, demonstrating their confidence in his judgment and leadership. 

Jason's knowledge of the city's ordinances and land development code is, in my judgment, exceptional. He understands the details that determine how proposals are evaluated and how development affects surrounding neighborhoods. As Marco Island considers future growth and redevelopment, that expertise would be particularly valuable on the City Council, helping members ask informed questions and understand the consequences of their decisions. 

I also value Jason's approach to solving problems. He is open-minded, listens carefully, and takes time to understand an issue before reaching a conclusion. He is articulate and able to explain complicated technical matters in language people can understand. That ability helps residents participate meaningfully in discussions and gives fellow decision-makers a clearer understanding of the choices before them. 

I regard Jason as a person of high integrity with exceptional leadership skills. He combines detailed knowledge with practical experience and a willingness to hear different perspectives. Those qualities would make him a valuable addition to the Council. I am confident he would serve Marco Island thoughtfully and effectively, and I encourage residents to join me in supporting Jason Bailey.
