Dog Park Holes

I have had the pleasure of living on Marco since 2013. I especially enjoy the dog park which allows so many people and their dogs to have a place to meet and talk. Talking has lost its way to text, but here at the park, it 'sold-fashioned conversation. The purpose of my letter is over concern of people being injured in the park. We have dogs that dig holes(owners fault and responsibility), and the grounds crew does not fix them. I asked last year for some dirt so I, and others, could fill the holes as needed, and two piles of dirt were delivered. This year I requested the same but it has not happened yet. We have many elderly people that if they trip, will break bones. I think it's crazy that our tax dollars can't supply dirt when needed for safety. I will go buy a bag of dirt and keep it in the small dog park so I can fix the problem. Should it be a citizen's job to do this???
