Albert Einstein Misquoted?

The common belief that Professor Einstein defined insanity as “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results” has been debunked. Apparently, what the good doctor actually said was: 

“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them”! 

Why on earth do both above statements immediately bring Marco Island’s new City Council to mind? Of course common sense and logic prevail on our City Council.  Yes, they’ve still failed to select a seventh councilor after weeks of meetings of duplicated votes that have produced the same results, but…uh-oh…
