A Grateful Graduate

I am grateful to have been part of the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce Leadership Marco Class of 2025 — “The Best Class Ever”, as it’s said. Thank you to Donna Niemczyk, Dianna Dohm, and the 2024 class of Leadership Marco for organizing these insightful, impactful, and educational days. Marco Island is an incredible community, and I am grateful for the chance to network with other leaders across various sectors of the island, building lifelong friendships. I am also appreciative of all the businesses and organizations that warmly welcomed us during our visits. Finally, I am forever grateful to Marco Island Academy and Principal Melissa Scott for allowing me the opportunity to grow in my leadership through participation in Leadership Marco. With sessions on Marco Island history, media, law enforcement, real estate, education, parks and recreation, healthcare, fire and rescue, hospitality and tourism, agriculture and environment, and government, there is something new to learn for every participant. They say it takes a village, which is what makes Marco Island a truly vibrant gem of a community.
