United Church to Host Mardi Gras Celebration

United Church of Marco Island invites the community to kick up their heels and celebrate Mardi Gras on Tuesday, February 17 at 5:00 PM with a festive evening featuring a Cajun meal, lively Dixieland band, and a brief meditation from Pastor Ed Brandt. The celebration will take place in Disseler Hall on the church campus.

“This is really a Mardi Gras blowout before the sacred season of Lent,” said Pastor Brandt. Guests are encouraged to dress in festive colors and enjoy a joyful evening of food, music, and fellowship.

The meal will be catered, and the church asks for an accurate dinner count. Those planning to attend should register by emailing ucmarco@ucmarco.org. Attendees will be invited to make a donation to help defray the cost of the meal and the Dixieland band.
