United Church New Sermon Series

Posted

The United Church of Marco Island invites the community to a powerful and thought-provoking five-week sermon series titled “Things You Don’t Want to Say on Your Deathbed!” beginning Sunday, April 19 and continuing through May 17.

This meaningful series will explore how to live a full, faith-centered life—one marked by purpose, love, and few regrets. Each message will focus on common reflections people often wish they could change, offering practical and spiritual guidance for living differently today.

“Too often, we wait until it’s too late to think about what really matters,” said Pastor Ed Brandt. “This series is about making decisions now so that we can look back on life with peace, purpose, and gratitude rather than regret.”

The weekly sermon themes include:

April 19 — I Wish I Had Trusted God More

April 26 — I Wish I Had Loved People Better!

May 3 — I Wish I Had Forgiven More (and Been Forgiven)

May 10 — I Wish I Had Lived with an Eternal Purpose

May 17 — I Wish I Had Said “Yes” to Jesus More Often!

Worship services are held every Sunday at 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM at United Church of Marco Island, located at 320 N. Barfield Drive.

All are welcome to attend and discover how faith can shape a life well-lived—starting today.
