Touch-a-Truck Coming to Marco

Marco Island families are invited to experience the first-ever Touch-a-Truck event on Marco Island when the community-wide celebration rolls into Veterans Community Park at 901 Park Avenue, Marco Island, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event is free and open to the public.

This hands-on event gives children the chance to explore and interact with real-life vehicles they admire every day, including police cars, fire trucks, construction equipment, and emergency response vehicles, while meeting the local heroes and professionals who operate them.

Touch-a-Truck is proudly hosted by two local Marco Island toddler moms and small business owners: Sabria Richards, owner of A Blinds Co., and Kristina Lambros of The Lambros Group, a Keller Williams Marco Island Realtor Team. Together, they are excited to launch what they hope will become a beloved annual Marco Island tradition.

“As a local mom raising a toddler on Marco Island, creating events that bring families together is incredibly important to me,” said Richards. “This is our first year bringing Touch-a-Truck to the island, and we’re so excited to offer families a fun, interactive experience that kids will remember.”

Lambros added, “Marco Island is such a special place to raise a family, and we’re passionate about building community right here at home. Our goal is for Touch-a-Truck to grow into an annual event that families can look forward to year after year.”

The event is sponsored by the City of Marco Island Parks and Recreation, whose support helps make this family-focused experience possible.

Designed for children of all ages, Touch-a-Truck offers a safe, engaging environment centered on learning, exploration, and community connection. There will be free water and giveaways, too!

For more information, residents are encouraged to follow local community announcements and upcoming promotional materials as the event approaches.
