Tim Zimmerman and The King’s Brass in Concert

United Church of Marco Island is delighted to welcome back Tim Zimmerman and The King’s Brass for an energizing and inspiring concert on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 4:00 PM. This special community performance is open to all, with a freewill offering received during the event.

For more than 47 years, The King’s Brass has brought vibrant, innovative worship experiences to audiences across the country and around the world. Founded in Detroit and now based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the ensemble is composed of professional musicians from across the United States who share a passion for using the instruments they love to lead others in praise.

The group features an impressive lineup of three trumpets, three trombones, a tuba, percussion, and keyboards, blending classical technique with creative arrangements of beloved hymns. The result is a unique musical experience—fresh, joyful, and accessible to all generations. Concertgoers can expect hymn classics presented with a contemporary flair, along with selections that highlight both sacred and secular musical artistry.

Critics from across musical genres consistently praise The King’s Brass as superb in every way, “innovative and well played,” and “truly, an unforgettable experience.” Performing more than 150 concerts each year, the ensemble continues to captivate audiences from coast to coast and throughout international venues.

“They wowed everyone in attendance last year and we are thrilled to have them back,” commented Chris Moore, Associate Director of Music for United Church.
