Lunch with Friends brought together over 199 friends at the Marco Lutheran Church on January 21, hosted by Discovery Village at Naples, home to many seniors who used to live on Marco Island. Now, they are residents at Discovery Village but continue to attend the monthly luncheons. A big thanks to Mr. Crab Cakes for the delicious pulled pork and to the dedicated volunteers from Hideaway Beach Association. As always, many thanks to Lunch with Friends sponsors, Al’s Pals, Our Daily Bread Food Pantry, Marco Island Lutheran Church and the YMCA.
The Lunch with Friends tradition continue to be very popular and has become a monthly luncheon tradition for many seniors from Marco Island and the surrounding communities of Goodland, Isles of Capri, and East Naples. Each month they offer a delicious meal, friendship, and a feeling of belonging for seniors over 60.
