Storylines for the second week of the double elimination tournament of the Marco Island Senior Softball League included victories by Salty Dog and Snook Inn to remain unbeaten in the tournament, and Oyster Society claiming the Gulf Coast Division title. In the Island Division, Nacho Mama’s defeated Dolphin Tiki to set up a rematch with Salty Dog in the championship round after losing to the Dog earlier in the week. Likewise in the Marco Division, Stonewalls eliminated Joey’s Pizza from the tourney to forge a rematch with Snook Inn in the finals round after losing to the Snook earlier in the week. Meanwhile, the Oyster Society continued their dominance in the Gulf Coast Division by winning their twelfth consecutive game to claim both the regular season and tournament titles in that division.
