Oh My Stars! If you’re in the market for a stunning starfish pendant, now is the time to look

Posted

Since July, we’ve previewed several thousand pieces of fine jewelry. And by far? The biggest crowd favorite has been the starfish.

If you’re in the market for a stunning starfish pendant, now is the time to look. We’ve just added several new styles and sizes to the inventory. Want big? We have it.

There’s just something — dare I say sexy? — about a glittering yellow gold and diamond starfish. They photograph beautifully and they’re the quintessential island statement piece. And don’t get me started on the dangling starfish earrings. They’re the cherry on top.

They’re so fun to mix and match, too.

Try a sand dollar pendant with sparkly starfish earrings. Or do a two-tone stack with a palm tree pendant and a starfish pendant.

The starfish studs are the perfect everyday earring — easy to dress up or down. They’re the go-to for your casual Marco Island wardrobe.

Quick tip: Do you have a pendant that isn’t getting any love? Maybe it came on a thin chain that just doesn’t do it justice. A chain upgrade can make all the difference.

Paperclip chains are my current obsession. They completely change the vibe of your pendant. I carry varying lengths and thicknesses in yellow gold, gold-plated sterling, and all sterling silver. Bring your pendant in — it saves a trip if the bail needs adjusting.

The best part about a paperclip chain is how easy it is to adjust the length. It’s perfect for layering. And it gives you that bold gold look with zero effort. I wear a long chunky yellow gold paperclip with my five-carat round lab pendant every day, and I get compliments constantly.

A note on classics:

Some designs remain classics for a reason. I can’t count how many custom remounts I’ve designed this year into yellow gold solitaires or three-stone settings. So many women had white gold pieces from decades ago when white gold was the thing. Now they’re systematically moving back to yellow gold — and somehow it feels fresh and modern again.

Yellow was definitely the color of the year in our case. While restocking, I actually had to force myself to add white gold pieces because we were so low! That said, one classic that still sells best in white gold is the diamond hoop. I always have a great selection in small, medium, and large.

New items are arriving daily. We’re having the best time showing off the newest designs, and as I predicted, the most exquisite and unusual pieces are moving fast.

The yellow gold and diamond flexible bracelets are particularly lovely. They make an easy gift for the woman who loves stacking bangles.

Building a collection is such a fun way to update your look. Some women prefer minimal hand jewelry and wear three sets of hoops in graduating sizes. Some women put all their bling on their hands and stack bands in fun colors and shapes.

The rules no longer apply. The modern lady wears what makes her happy. And isn’t that what it’s all about?
