Naples Philharmonic “Around Town” at United Church

The Naples Philharmonic brings its acclaimed “Around Town” series to United Church of Marco Island on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 4:00 PM, presenting an inspiring community concert led by Associate Conductor Manuel López-Gómez. The performance will also feature the Naples Philharmonic Chorus, under the direction of Jeremy T. Warner. 

The program highlights a compelling blend of choral and orchestral masterworks, opening with Reinaldo Moya’s Polo Romanesco, a vibrant and contemporary work. The chorus then takes center stage for Johannes Brahms’ deeply moving Nänie and Handel’s triumphant and beloved coronation anthem “Zadok the Priest.” The afternoon concludes with Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2, a radiant and energetic masterpiece that showcases the orchestra’s brilliance. 

As part of the Philharmonic’s commitment to bringing world-class music directly into Southwest Florida neighborhoods, this “Around Town” concert offers an accessible and welcoming experience for longtime classical music patrons and first-time listeners alike. Audiences are invited to enjoy an uplifting afternoon of exceptional music-making right in the heart of the Marco Island community.
