Marco Island Senior Softball

With another successful season of Marco Island Senior Softball in the books, the league wanted to take this opportunity to recognize the contributions of the many people and organizations who helped make it all possible, beginning with the sponsors. This week we salute the Island Division sponsors and team managers – Dolphin Tiki, managed by Chris Flynn; Salty Dog, managed by Mike Schwab; Nacho Mama’s, managed by Todd Rogers; DaVinci’s, managed by Ed Seery; Verdi’s, managed by Gary Grefer; and Speakeasy, managed by Tom Vander Aarde. In addition, thanks to the assistant coaches, players, families, fans, umpires, booth volunteers, and last but not least, the City Parks and Rec maintenance personnel Bill Cookson and Lucy Crabtree, who always had the field in great shape and ready to use every game day. The Marco and Gulf Coast Division teams will be highlighted in subsequent issues.
