In Loving Memory of William “Buff” Morris Jr.

Posted

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Morris Jr., affectionately known as “Buff,” who left us peacefully on March 27, one day after his 77th birthday.

Buff was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, treasured brother, and loyal friend. He was the beloved husband of Virginia and a proud father to William (Billy), Elizabeth and her husband Brian, and Michael and his wife Sasha. He adored his grandchildren - Nicholas, Leah, Aiden, Jessica, Web, Cooper, and Nathan - who brought him endless joy.

A former firefighter from Andover, Massachusetts, Buff dedicated his life to service, community, and family. In his later years, he found a second family on the softball field with the Marco Senior Softball League, where he shared his love for the game and formed lasting friendships. His passion for sports, his warm spirit, and his unwavering kindness touched all who knew him.

Buff’s legacy will live on in the memories of those who loved him, and his presence will be deeply missed. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday,  April 12th, at 10:00 AM at San Marco Catholic Church, Marco Island, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Wounded Warriors or AVOW Hospice of Naples, Florida, in his honor.

Rest in peace, Buff. You will forever be in our hearts.
