We announce the passing of Linda Sue Tost, who left this world on December 30, 2025, at 3:45 AM, to be reunited with her children, Tina Fogle and Charlie Fogle.
Linda lived a hard life, and it showed — but so did her strength. She was tough, feisty, stubborn, and unapologetically herself. She was not outwardly affectionate, but she loved in her own way: by surviving, by staying standing when life tried to break her, and by showing up the only way she knew how. Those who truly knew her understood that beneath the rough edges was a woman who endured more than most and kept going anyway.
She is deeply missed by her children Billy Tost (daughter-in-law Holly Kilgore), Aaron Tost, and Ashley Fogle-Tost. She is also remembered by her grandchildren Tiana Belyea (Jon), Michaela Potter, Hailey Fogle, David Fogle, Angelina Tost, and Isaac Potter, and her great-grandchildren Noah, Mason, and JR, who carry her legacy forward. She is also missed by many extended family members and those who shared in her life over the years.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Linda’s honor on her birthday, Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Chokoloskee Church of God.
Family and friends are invited to gather to remember Linda honestly — to share stories, laughter, and truth — and to honor a woman who lived life the hard way and made it through. She will be remembered for her grit, her endurance, and the mark she left on those who loved her.
