Barbara Ann Lawrence, 82, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, at Avow Hospice in Naples, Florida. Born on January 16, 1943, in Sellersville, Pennsylvania, Barbara lived a life marked by dedication to her family, community involvement, and professional achievement.
Barbara pursued her education with determination, completing high school and earning college credits before obtaining her Real Estate Broker’s License. Her career was as diverse as it was accomplished—she worked for lawyers, ran her own business, and later contributed her talents to the City of Marco Island, where she worked from 1997 until she retired. In each role she held, Barbara brought diligence and integrity that left a lasting impression on those around her.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Barbara is lovingly remembered by her husband, Brooke Lawrence; her daughter, Susie Schultz; and her grandson, Chris Schultz. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Steven Lawrence, and her sister, Bonnie Hendricks. She was the oldest of three children born to Edward J. Bibic, Sr. and Dorothy Fosbenner Bibic. She has one surviving brother, Edward J. Bibic, Jr. of Pennsylvania, his wife, Elizabeth Bibic, and their children, Kate Bibic and John Bibic.
Barbara found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid golfer who relished time spent on the course. Her love for cooking brought warmth to many gatherings with family and friends. Volunteering was another passion—she gave generously of her time and energy to causes close to her heart. She volunteered at Collier Literacy, Harry Chapin Food Bank, St. Matthews House, and the hospital and Ladies Auxiliary for the Sellersville Fire Department in Pennsylvania. A woman of faith, Barbara regularly attended church services and found fulfillment singing in the choir and participating in church volunteer activities.
Her legacy is one of love, service, and strength—a life well-lived that touched many others along the way. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held on December 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at North Naples Methodist Church Chapel, 6000 Goodlette-Frank Road. A reception will be held following the service at Cedar Hammock Golf and Country Club, 8660 Cedar Hammock Boulevard, Naples, Florida (use the Davis Boulevard entrance).
