Alexa Elizabeth Dorbad, born September 6, 1990, passed away on July 23, 2026, leaving behind the memories of a life that touched all who knew and loved her.
She spent her early years growing up in Marco Island, Florida, where the beauty of the Gulf Coast helped shape her childhood and spirit. It was there that she formed many of her earliest memories and connections that remained meaningful throughout her life.
Later in life, Alexa made her home in California, where she lived until her passing. During this time, she built a life marked by compassion, including a deep and abiding love for animals, which was a defining part of who she was.
Alexa will be remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, her presence, and the moments she shared with others will continue to be cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her parents Janine Dorbad, Patrick and Deborah Dorbad. Brothers Patrick Dorbad II and Luke Purvis. Grandmother Elizabeth Monk and aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever cherish her memory.
A funeral service will be held on September 2, 2026, at 10:30 AM at San Marco Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Collier County Humane Society in honor of her love for animals.
Though Alexa is no longer with us, the love she gave and the memories she created will continue to live on.
May she rest in peace.
