IAS Donates to Laces of Love

Twice a year, the Italian American Society (IAS) donates to Laces of Love, a Charitable Foundation that has been providing new shoes for kids in need from Collier and Lee Counties for over 20 years. The IAS does this good deed at the beginning of their season and at the end of their season. Last week's meeting, the members showed up with a total of 71 sneakers and $35 cash.

The Italian American Society is open to any adult person 21 years of age or over who is of Italian lineage, either by direct ancestry or by marriage or cohabitation. Applications are available on www.iasmi.org. See us on Facebook.
