Visitors welcomed a head start on their shopping lists at the 15th Annual Goodland Civic Association Holiday Bazaar at Margood Harbor Park on Saturday and Sunday. The event hosted a combination of nineteen returning and first-time unique, hand-made, and memorable booths ranging from artwork and pottery to bath and body goods.
Volunteer-led complimentary golf cart rides provided shoppers with a sweat-free experience to and from their vehicles and directly to the fun. Tara O’Neil, the event organizer and artist, shared how pleased she was by the steady stream of traffic and appreciated the true Goodland spirit from the volunteers.
Local and first-time vendor Louis Cristi of Royal Palm Pottery sold his artistic and practical pottery pieces saying, “I am happy with the great turnout!” Returning vendor Captain Pam Stop, wouldn’t miss the event and drove over six hours to showcase and sell her vintage shell collection dating as far back as the ‘80s! Husband and Wife duo Alan and Kelly DeMichele offered their Sand-Casting Sculptures for the second time at the event.
It was impossible to leave empty-handed with the wide assortment of choices fit for any holiday list.
