Friends of Tigertail is ready for Spring with two great events! Come for “Breakfast and Birds” on March 21 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Meet with a local naturalist and other interested birders to learn how the wintering birds on Marco get ready to migrate to their summer nesting grounds. Birding ID cards will be available for a donation.
This is a free program – no reservations are necessary! And parking is free with a Collier County Beach Parking sticker. So bring your own breakfast and binoculars and meet at the Tigertail Beach kiosk on March 21, 2026, for Breakfast and Birds.
Then on Saturday, March 28, make plans for the quarterly Tigertail Beach Cleanup. Put on your sunscreen, grab a hat, and make sure to wear shoes that may get wet. The beach cleanup is from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and all youth who participate will receive a Certificate of Appreciation for volunteering. To help reduce waste, make sure to bring your own waste container. Again, meet at the Tigertail Beach kiosk and get ready to clean up our beach!
