Empowerment Farm Fall Festival

Posted

Empowerment Farm welcomed nearly 300 guests to their Fall Festival on November 2nd, transforming the landscape into an interactive scene of autumnal joy and community spirit. The event was a resounding success, with families and friends coming together to enjoy an array of seasonal activities while supporting a meaningful cause.

“I am filled with joy and gratitude for the incredible turnout and overwhelming support from our community at this year’s fall festival,” said co-founder Tiffany Lehman. “Seeing so many families laughing together, children playing freely in the dirt, and everyone embracing the simple joys of farm life reminds us of why we do this.”

The festival provided something for everyone. Attendees strolled through a charming pumpkin patch, complete with creative and themed pumpkin character displays that delighted visitors of all ages. One of the most popular attractions was the farm animal encounters, where visitors had the chance to meet and interact with the farm’s goats, chickens, and other beloved animals. Photo stations throughout the farm captured unforgettable memories, and the abundance of kid-friendly activities ensured there was never a dull moment.

The market buzzed with excitement as visitors shopped for unique, locally made items, knowing that every purchase contributed to Empowerment Farm’s future. All proceeds from the event will help build a much-needed barn, which will allow Empowerment Farm to expand its operations, bring on more animals, and create additional programming to benefit the community.

The farm now boasts over 100 food-bearing trees, 12 garden beds, four goats, two tortoises, two bunnies, nine chickens, and four quail. In the coming months, they hope to add ducks and donkeys to their growing family of animals.

The Fall Festival was a celebration of the changing seasons, but it was also a celebration of community and shared purpose. Visitors left with their arms full of pumpkins and their hearts full of joy, having made lasting memories while contributing to Empowerment Farm’s mission of empowerment, sustainability, and education.

As Empowerment Farm continues to grow, events like the Fall Festival play a crucial role in turning their vision of community involvement and education into a reality. Lehman concluded, “Thank you to each person who made this day unforgettable!” To learn more about their programs and sponsorship opportunities or to volunteer at the farm visit empowermentfarm.org.
