Dementia Awareness Charity Event

Posted

Come to Veterans Park on Saturday, January 11, for a free Dementia Awareness Charity Event from 12 PM to 5 PM in honor of Carol Kraley.

Carol was an incredible woman who dedicated her life to giving back to our community. From her time with the Kiwanis Club, as a Girl Scout Leader, Optimus Cheer Coach, and PTA Mom, to her role as the owner of Floridian Outfitters, she made a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her love for Marco Island and her passion for volunteering inspired her daughter Jordan to create this event - a day that reflects her generous spirit and unwavering dedication to others.

This event brings together local talent, businesses, and supporters who share a passion for raising awareness:

Live Music Performances by Jon Barr and Charlie Pace.

Silent Auction: Featuring incredible pieces from local artists, including Tara O’Neill, who have generously donated their artwork in support of this cause.

Local Favorites Onsite: Coffee and Donuts by The Bean, Kava from Kava Culture.

Additional highlights include raffle baskets, aerial dancer performances, informative booths, and a crochet vendor.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets to comfortably enjoy the live music performances throughout the day.

The event’s theme color is purple, symbolizing unity and support for those affected by dementia.

Jordan would love for you to join the celebration for Carol and make a meaningful impact in her memory.
