Bayshore Shows Up for its Own

Although summer is in full swing and peak season has ended, Bayshore could never forget about the people who make its neighborhood one of a kind. The Bayshore District continues to showcase local businesses, artists, and community members in its signature creative and energetic style.

On Saturday, July 26, over 900 people gathered for the First Annual Summer Bloc Party, hosted by LowBrow Pizza and Beer in collaboration with the Bayshore District nonprofit. The event marked more than just a party - it signaled the birth of a bold new summer tradition to showcase the residents who stay in Naples year-round.

The street-style celebration included live music, live art, a tap takeover featuring 1800 Tequila and E11even Vodka, and even a surprise appearance by FC Naples, which drew cheers from the crowd.

“Our goal was to create something special for Bayshore, something that could grow into a summer tradition everyone looks forward to,” said Antonio Longobardi, owner of LowBrow Pizza & Beer. “Seeing the streets packed with music, art, and neighbors supporting local - this is what it’s all about. This was a win not just for LowBrow, but for the entire Bayshore District.”

The event was powered by a shared mission: to uplift local businesses, encourage creative collaboration, and continue Bayshore’s legacy as a hub for culture and community. For Diane Sullivan, founder and president of the Bayshore District nonprofit, the celebration was proof of what can happen when vision meets action.

“This is the heart of Bayshore,” Sullivan said. “We’re here to help businesses like LowBrow turn vision into impact. Antonio had a dream to create a signature summer event for the districtand together, we made it a reality. The success of the Bloc Party shows what’s possible when we come together.”

In a time where Ma and Pa shops can be hit hard by the dip in visitation, and the heat keeps residents indoors, the First Annual Summer Bloc Party is a testament to the loyalty and support the Bayshore community has for one another.
