The Second Annual Rhinestone Rodeo, benefitting Our Daily Bread Food Pantry (ODBFP), promises an unforgettable evening of entertainment at the Island Country Club in Marco Island on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Guests are invited to enjoy a night filled with live music, an exciting auction, and fun activities, all in support of the pantry’s mission to combat food insecurity in the local community.
Headlining the evening will be the Back Country Boys, a Southwest Florida favorite known for their high-energy performances of country and Southern rock classics. Their lively set will kick off the night during the cocktail hour from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, setting the tone for an evening of boots, dancing, and community spirit. The band’s toe-tapping tunes are sure to keep the crowd energized and in the mood to celebrate.
Joining the lineup is Rick Gallo, a renowned auctioneer who brings both charisma and experience to the live auction. Rick has a long history of leading successful fundraisers and is highly regarded for his ability to engage audiences and drive excitement for bidding. With his talent for inspiring generosity, guests can expect a lively and competitive auction experience.
Rachel Cox-Rosen, WINK News Traffic Anchor, will serve as the Mistress of Ceremony, guiding guests through the evening’s activities. Rachel has a deep connection to the cause, having worked with Our Daily Bread Food Pantry on multiple stories during her reporting in Collier County. “I’m thrilled to be part of this event and support the incredible
work that ODBFP does in our community,” said Rachel. “It’s going to be an amazing night, and I look forward to helping raise much-needed funds in such a fun and unique way.”
In addition to the music, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Boot Scootin’ class led by Angie Moore, try their hand games, bid on a variety of exciting silent and live auction items and the opportunity to raise much needed funds during the paddle raise. A BBQ dinner, complete with a vegetarian option, is included in the $200 ticket price, along with one complimentary drink ticket.
Evelyn Rossetti-Ryan, EdD, Executive Director of ODBFP, shared her enthusiasm for the event: “We are excited to celebrate our second annual Rhinestone Rodeo with so many partners and friends. We are greatly appreciative of NCH, Tamiami Ford, Florida Blue, Chris Sullivan Real Estate, 7-11, Edgewater Pools and Spa, and all of our sponsors, auction contributors, and community members. We can’t wait to kick up our heels on January 5th. It will be a night to remember. Proceeds from the Rhinestone Rodeo will benefit Our Daily Bread Food Pantry’s programs and services.”
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Our Daily Bread Food Pantry’s ongoing efforts to provide nutritious, high- quality food to vulnerable families in Marco Island and throughout southern Collier County.
