The YMCA of Collier County is inviting the community to spread holiday cheer and support local families in need through its annual Giving Tree program.
From now to December 11th, community members can visit the South Campus in Marco Island to select a gift tag from the Giving Tree. Each tag represents a gift request from a Y family. Donors can purchase the gift and return it, unwrapped, to the YMCA by December 11th.
Monetary donations are also accepted and can be made online at ymcacollier.org/givingtree.html. When donating online, please select the “Giving Tree” campaign.
“The Giving Tree is a heartwarming tradition that allows us to make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors,” said Charlene Rose, YMCA of Collier County Youth and Family Director. “By donating a gift or making a monetary contribution, you can help ensure that local families have a joyous holiday season.”
The YMCA is committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. TheGiving Tree program is just one way the YMCA works to support the community’s most vulnerable populations.
