Summer Laughs at Arts Center Theatre

Posted

The Marco Island Center for the Arts is bringing spontaneous comedy, audience interaction, and nonstop laughter to the stage this summer with the return of Stage 2 Improv at Arts Center Theatre. Performances will take place on June 20, July 11, and August 15, 2026, at 7:30 PM at Arts Center Theatre, located in the Marco Town Center next to Marco Brewery.

Inspired by the hit television show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”, Stage 2 Improv delivers a completely unscripted and unrehearsed comedy experience where audience suggestions inspire every game, scene, and song. No two performances are ever the same, making each show a one-of-a-kind evening of entertainment.

Stage 2 Improv is dedicated to creating a fun and engaging experience for audiences of all ages. This production thrives on audience participation, encouraging attendees to shout out ideas that become the foundation for hilarious onstage moments. Whether it’s outrageous characters, spontaneous musical numbers, or fast-paced improv games, audiences can expect an evening full of surprises and laughter.

“You never know what to expect when Stage 2 Improv is in the house,” said Mike Santos, Co-Owner/Emcee of Stage 2 Improv. “The audience becomes part of the creative process, making every performance interactive, energetic, and unforgettable.”

Marco Island Center for the Arts’ Arts Center Theatre continues to expand its diverse programming with performances that entertain, inspire, and bring the community together through the arts. Stage 2 Improv offers a perfect summer night out for families, friends, and comedy lovers alike.
