Saluting Our Country's 250th Anniversary

The San Marco Church Knights of Columbus sponsored an “Open House” chaired by Mike Stanczak to celebrate our country’s 250th Anniversary on July 3. The event started with MaryJo O’Regan singing the National Anthem to a very large crowd decked out in red, white, and blue. The music provided by DJ Sugarcube then started and continued for the entire event.

There were various games, including cornhole and golf putting, for the crowd. A large dunk tank was on site, and the crowd enjoyed dunking Knights John Caltabiano, Grand Knight John Stuart, and last but not least Father Chuck Ruoff.

The crowd enjoyed complimentary soft drinks, hot dogs, hamburgers with sides and many different desserts. Cotton candy, snow cones, and popcorn were popular with the children as well as the adults. A good time was had by all celebrating the anniversary of our country. GOD BLESS AMERICA.
