My Marco Academy: Building a Strong Foundation for Lifelong Learning

For decades, our preschool has served Marco Island families, originally opening as Mother's Morning Out. While our name has changed to My Marco Academy, our heart for children and families remains the same. Over the past several years, we've expanded our focus from primarily play-based care to a strong emphasis on academics, kindergarten readiness, and nurturing the whole child.

This year, every classroom is using the Frog Street curriculum, a research-based program that develops early literacy, math, science, social-emotional skills, and critical thinking through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Our goal is to help every child enter kindergarten with the confidence and skills they need to thrive.

We're also excited to offer a Pre-K program this year. Our Pre-K class uses the same curriculum as the Collier County Public Schools Pre-K program. We offer smaller class sizes, individualized attention, and a faith-filled environment that families have come to appreciate at My Marco Academy. Our Pre-K class meets Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Faith is an important part of who we are. Each Wednesday, our students gather for chapel, where they learn about God's love through Bible stories, music, prayer, and age-appropriate lessons that help build kindness, compassion, and strong character.

Our teachers are passionate early childhood educators who are committed to ongoing professional growth. They are supported through regular training and mentorship from experienced education professionals, including individuals with advanced degrees and extensive expertise in child development and education.

Beyond providing an outstanding academic experience, My Marco Academy is a place where community flourishes. Our active PTO creates opportunities for families to connect, build lasting friendships, and support one another. We believe some of the greatest gifts we offer are not only the education children receive, but also the relationships that families build together.
