IAS Donates to Laces of Love

The Italian American Society (IAS) of Marco held their December meeting at Mackle Park's Community room with 90 members and guests bringing sneakers for Laces of Love. 74 pairs of shoes along with checks were donated to this very worthy non-profit organization whose mission is to provide new shoes to low-income and disadvantaged children of Collier and Lee Counties. IAS member, Joyce Imbrogno spearheads this donation twice a year and the club never lets her down. After a brief meeting, the group had a party with Christmas music, sandwiches, and pastries made by its members. A wonderful time was had by all.
