Happy Hour for Hope June 30

Happy Hours for Hope are celebrations for a worthy cause. These monthly gatherings raise funds for Meals of Hope, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to eliminate hunger in Collier County. Meals of Hope Marco Island is a combined effort of Sunrise Rotary, Noontime Rotary, and the Kiwanis Club.

Neil “Capt. Happy” Snyder invites you to an upcoming Happy Hour for Hope, Tuesday, June 30, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at CJ’s on the Bay, 740 North Collier Blvd. in the Esplanade. Set against the backdrop of beautiful Smokehouse Bay, attendees will enjoy complimentary appetizers and Happy Hour priced drinks while enjoying the musical sounds of Lance Shearer, all for a suggested donation of just $20. A 50-50 drawing will add to the fun and funds.

Happy Hours for Hope are crucial to our success! These monthly events raise funds to purchase raw food materials for the upcoming packaging event Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the Marco Island Charter Middle School. This year, we need to raise $60,000 to pack 200,000 meals. Food packages are distributed throughout Collier County by its accredited food bank partners free of charge to recipients in need. Meals of Hope Marco Island is supported by donations and by Friends of Hope, a group of generous individuals and businesses who have made substantial financial contributions to the cause. We thank our 2025 Friends of Hope who made last year’s event possible: Erik Condee-Condee Electric and Cooling, Tom Mann-All Event Party Rental, Donna Dubey, Deb Henry, Barbara Kaumann, John McGonigle, Tom Menaker, William G. Morris, Dennis and Joan Pidherny, Susan Purvis, Jim and Allyson Richards, Arne and Jill Sandberg, Alan and Linda Sandlin, Pam Shniper, Gwyn Steiner, Robert and Catherine Thomas, and Bonita Schwan. Please consider becoming a 2026 Friend of Hope to ensure the continued success of this wonderful cause!

The public is invited, so please join us June 30 at CJ’s for food, fun, music, and libations. Let’s mix and mingle for an excellent cause! Hope to see you there!
