Happy Birthday to Our Daily Bread Food Pantry

Our Daily Bread Food Pantry (ODBFP) proudly marks a significant milestone—nine years of dedicated service to the Marco Island and surrounding communities. Since its founding in 2016, ODBFP has remained steadfast in its mission to fight hunger, bring hope, and nourish families across southern Collier County.

Reflecting on the journey, Evelyn Rossetti-Ryan, Executive Director of ODBFP, shared her heartfelt gratitude:

“Today, we celebrate nine incredible years of impact, growth, and community support. None of this would be possible without our volunteers, donors, and partners who have stood by us every step of the way. Together, we’ve built more than a pantry - we’ve built a lifeline of food, encouragement, and hope for families in need. Here’s to many more years of serving our community with compassion and purpose.”

Over the past nine years, ODBFP has expanded its reach and programs to address growing needs. From its beginnings as a grassroots initiative, the pantry now operates six days a week, including a robust mobile pantry service. Together, these efforts provide food assistance to over 1,000 households each week through 14 distribution opportunities each month.

This milestone serves as both a celebration of past accomplishments and a call to action for the future. ODBFP remains committed to wiping out hunger and invites the community to join its mission by volunteering, donating, or becoming a partner. As ODBFP looks ahead, Evelyn Rossetti-Ryan emphasized the importance of continued collaboration:

“Our journey is far from over. With the unwavering support of our community, we can ensure that no family in southern

Collier County goes hungry. Thank you for being a part of our story, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
