Coastal Grind Roasting Co. - Founder, John Savchuck (Daily Vendor)

With a background in hospitality and culinary arts, quality, consistency, and care are some of the standards that John Savchuck now upholds with every batch of roasted coffee beans at The Coastal Grind. With their roastery based in Bonita Springs, they have honed their craft and bring the freshest blends to you via markets and their online store.

The Coastal Grind imports their beans from different co-ops across the globe and then creates their own blends. “We do a lot of tasting, and then we combine them to create the blend we are looking for,” said Savchuck.

They have three main blends: Coastal Sunrise, Island Drift, and Midnight Tide (Light, Medium, Dark). The dark roast has a blend of Indian Malabar. The medium roast has Sumatra Guatemalan, and Brazilian beans. The light roast has Panamanian, Colombian, and Ethiopian beans. “We are working on a Central South American blend now,” Savchuck shared.

In addition to their fresh blends, they have a variety of teas and coffee lovers’ merchandise.

They saw that the market had opened on Instagram and knew they wanted to be involved! They contacted the owner, Kristine Pannone, signed up, and got started right away.

They can be seen as frequent vendors on the market circuit and sell their beans to different coffee trucks in the area. They can be found every Sunday at The Artisan Market of Naples.

Hazel Coasts – Owner, Lindsay Ghord (Permanent Vendor)

Working with artisans globally, Lindsay Ghord imports handmade coastal products from textiles, home goods, ceramics, rugs, art, and some apparel. Bringing old-world craftsmanship to Southwest Florida.

She emphasizes that the products are closely tied with her own heritage, which spans across North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. “The practices that they’re using are specific and unique to their area.” She shared an example of her grandfather, who was born in Surabaya, Indonesia. “Batik is a popular and common practice.” A centuries-old, wax-resist dyeing technique that transforms plain fabric into deeply meaningful, storytelling cloth.

“Tunisia is a huge focal point. It’s the majority of what I have in my booth right now. A lot is done on looms, things that are made to last.”

In addition to her booth and online store, she hosts cultural immersion workshops and tailor-made events. Geared mainly towards children, the focus is on implementing and teaching them the practices, ancient techniques, and traditions to keep them alive.

The Artisan Market of Naples owner, Kristine Pannone, had previously seen Ghord’s work at a market that has since closed and when the time was right, reached out and asked her to join The Artisan Market.

Situated at the front and greeting you upon entrance, Hazel Coasts is a permanent feature of the market, bringing you unique accents from around the globe.
