Easter Vigil Service

United Church of Marco Island will hold a special Easter Vigil Service on Saturday, April 4, at 4:00 PM in the sanctuary. The service will invite worshippers into a time of reflection and anticipation as the church prepares to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“This will be a service of light,” commented Ed Brandt, Pastor, “that breaks into the darkness of the world in preparation for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

The service will begin in the church’s narthex, where parishioners will gather before processing into the sanctuary. During the service, the biblical story of the fall and redemption will be read, and worshippers will have the opportunity to reaffirm their baptismal vows as part of this meaningful tradition.

The approximately 50-minute service will serve as a spiritual prelude to the celebration of Easter morning. On Sunday, April 5, United Church of Marco Island will hold Resurrection Sunday worship services at 8:15 AM and 10:00 AM.

United Church of Marco Island is located at 320 N. Barfield Drive, Marco Island, Florida. The church normally holds Sunday worship services at 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM (except on Easter Sunday).
