Comedy Veteran Tom Briscoe Coming to Art Center Theatre

Get ready for an afternoon of laughter when Arts Center Theatre, in association with DCA Productions, presents comedian Tom Briscoe in his hit stand-up show, “It’s Not Mansplaining, It’s Old Mansplaining,” on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

With sharp wit and relatable storytelling, Briscoe delivers a hilarious collection of slants and rants on growing older in a world increasingly run by people much younger than he is. Audiences will enjoy his comedic takes on bad jobs, good marriages, travel disasters, raising daughters, empty nesting, doctors, unsolicited advice, and the often-ungraceful realities of aging.

Briscoe’s observational humor and self-deprecating charm have made him a favorite on stages across the country and around the globe. His Top 10 Dry Bar Comedy special has earned nearly two million full-episode views, while tracks from his comedy albums continue to receive regular play on comedy satellite radio stations nationwide.

In addition to his stand-up success, Briscoe’s original sitcom script, “The Citiots,” received an invitation to be pitched at the prestigious Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival. He is also a regular performer at top comedy clubs and cruise lines worldwide. His travels have taken him to more than 100 countries — though, as he jokes, only 86 will currently let him back in.

Packed with laugh-out-loud stories and clever observations, “It’s Not Mansplaining, It’s Old Mansplaining” promises an entertaining afternoon for audiences who appreciate smart, relatable comedy delivered by a seasoned professional.
