Christmas House Decorating Contest Winner

Homeowners Stu and Betsy Reese accepted their awards as the winners of the 2024, 31st Annual House Decorating Contest from Committee Chairman Dave Rice and the Christmas House Decorating Committee following the judges’ Trolley Ride Final son December 20.The awards included a winner’s plaque, the traditional yard sign for the annual display, and the Traveling Trophy. All Top 10 homes received a Finalist Award Plaque. 

A list of the Top 10 finalists and several prior winners who are “lit” in 2024 are listed for those who wish to view. This year’s winner of the House Decorating contest was selected from 1,606lighted homes throughout the island.  

The Marco Island Christmas House and Business Decorating Contest is sponsored by Lee County Electric Cooperative (LCEC). They have been the overall sponsor of this event continuously since its beginning in 1994. 

The winner of the 2024 Business Decorating Contest was Ciao Bella Ristorante Italiano at 1000 N. Collier Blvd.  

Stated Committee Chair Dave Rice, “We thank all of the families who “lit up Marco” again this year. Your efforts are appreciated by all the citizens of our wonderful Island.”
