Campers Enjoy End of Season Cookout

The Marco Island Parks and Recreation Department brought the 2025 Summer Camp Season to a close last Friday with help from the men and women of the Marco Bocce League. As they have for the last several years, camping staff and campers enjoyed a wonderful cookout luncheon courtesy of the Bocce League members.

“The children always look forward to enjoying the wonderful cookout provided by the Bocce members each year. Although they are sad that their camp time is about to end, they love the hamburgers and hot dogs. They created a big thank you card to show their appreciation,” said Smantha Malloy, Parks and Recreation Manager.
