Your Vote Is Your Voice!

As election season approaches, the Democratic Women’s Club of Marco (DWCMarco) once again reminded members in its June 9 meeting that “your vote is your voice.” This was the first of several “off-season” DWCMarco meetings held via Zoom web conference and over 30 members were in attendance.

Some of the information shared included:

• July 20 – Deadline for voter registration.
• August 6 - Deadline for Vote-by-Mail request*
• August 18 – Primary Election

1. Non-partisan Collier County School Board elections
2. All voters are eligible to vote

• August 8 – 15 – Early voting

Requesting a Vote-by-Mail ballot does not compel you to use it. You may still choose to vote in person on election day. However, having a Vote-by-Mail is a good “insurance policy” in case something prevents you from voting in person on election day. Contact colliervotes.gov for your Vote-by-Mail ballot.

# The School Board election is not a primary election and is your ONLY opportunity to choose who will be on the Collier County School Board for the next 2 years.

DWCMarco – Join Us!

The Democratic Women’s Club of Marco Island is a force for good, proving that when neighbors unite with a shared purpose, lasting change is possible. Whether through advocacy, volunteerism, or simply showing up, every effort contributes to a stronger, more just community. We welcome women and men from Marco Island, Naples, and the surrounding areas.

In addition to other social efforts, each month our meeting attendees donate a variety of foods requested by Our Daily Bread Food Pantry. At the May in-person meeting, our members and guests donated over 150 pounds of much needed and requested food products to help fight food insecurity across the community.
