The YMCA of Collier County is pleased to announce it has received a $70,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Collier County to expand programs and services for older adults.
According to CEO/President Cindy Love, the YMCA will use these funds to “provide healthy activities to support physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health and ensure a higher quality of life at every stage.”

The Y provides older adult programming on its North Naples campus and its Marco Island campus, where fundraising and construction are underway for a new 17,000-square-foot Healthy Living Center that will feature a multi-purpose space dedicated to programs that engage older adults in activities that promote social inclusion, community engagement, and better health.

The Collier Community Foundation awards annual grants through a competitive application and review process. Selected organizations receive grant dollars from the Community Impact Fund. This Fund is made up of donors who believe in the Community Foundation’s ability to identify and grant to the most community’s most current needs.
