Ms. Cindy Love-Abounader, President and CEO of the YMCA of Collier County, announces that Mr. Danny Soto has been appointed the Y’s North Campus Branch Executive and Mr. Mac Toth has been named the Y’s South Campus Branch Executive.
"We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and talented team at the helm of our YMCA," stated Love-Abounader. “Both Mr. Soto and Mr. Toth bring invaluable experience and a deep understanding of the Y's mission to their new roles, which will be instrumental in driving our continued growth and impact." Love-Abounader went on to say that "these appointments underscore our strategic vision to further strengthen our operational effectiveness and community engagement.”
Soto, a valued team member of the YMCA of Collier County since 2015, previously served as the organization’s Graphic Designer and subsequently as Marketing Director. “His understanding of the local community and commitment to the YMCA's core mission make him an exceptional leader for the North Campus,” Love-Abounader added.
"Having personally witnessed the profound positive impact the Y has had on my family and countless community members since moving to Naples in 2014, I am honored to assume the leadership of the North Campus," said Soto. "My objective is to ensure that the Y continues to be a vital cornerstone for fostering well-being and community spirit." Soto resides in Naples with his wife and four children.
Toth’s extensive history with the YMCA began in his youth, participating in programs from preschool through youth sports. This lifelong connection propelled him into a career with the Y, where he has contributed significantly for over four years. He commenced his tenure at the Y by supporting the development team and rapidly advanced to a leadership role in membership services. His diverse professional experiences include community outreach, fundraising, volunteer coordination, special events management, program development, and facility operations. Love-Abounader characterized Toth “as an advocate for the YMCA, who is dedicated to cultivating a positive and inclusive environment for all stakeholders.”
“The YMCA has played a formative role throughout my life, shaping my commitment to community service," commented Toth. "I am enthusiastic about applying my passion and experience to the South Campus, with the goal of creating an impactful and welcoming space for all our members, guests, and participants.” Toth resides in Naples with his wife and eight-month-old daughter.
Abounader-Love praised the two newly appointed leaders saying that “they will enhance the ability of the YMCA of Collier County to deliver high-quality programs and services that address the evolving needs of families and individuals across the region.”
