United Church of Marco, Bargain Basket Award Grant to Valerie's House

On behalf of the United Church of Marco Island and the Bargain Basket, the Missions Committee awarded a grant in the amount of $5,000 for Valerie's House, supporting its mission in Naples, Florida.

Valerie's House helps grieving children and their families work through the loss of a loved one together, so they can go on to live fulfilling lives. It's a peer support organization — not formal counseling — offering guided group activities and compassionate care at no cost to families.
