Triple Crown Fishing Tournament

The Marco Sportfishing Club recently concluded its annual signature backwater fishing event the Triple Crown, sponsored by The Compass Group at Morgan Stanley. This event spans four months, from July 1 through Oct 31, and requires an angler to catch a tarpon, snook and redfish with the winner being determined by the largest combined length of the snook and redfish along with catching and releasing a tarpon – the tarpon are not measured or handled to ensure they are released quickly and healthy.  The club congratulates winning angler Ken Robertson, Dave Dodd second, Al Jennings third, Ed Brown fourth, John Marchetti fifth, Chris Vines with the largest redfish not in the top five and Kevin Krygier with the largest snook not in the top five.  The club thanks all participants, our event leader Dave Schott, and our event sponsor The Compass Group at Morgan Stanley for another successful tournament.
