The Sunrise Rotary Club of Marco Island welcomed approximately 200 attendees to their first-ever community-wide pancake breakfast. The event was held at the Marco Island Lutheran Church as Rotarians were assisted by members of the Interact Club from Marco Island Academy.
Attendees were served pancakes, sausage, coffee, and orange juice while they sat and chatted with club members and other friends from throughout the community.
The congregation from the Lutheran Church has been especially welcoming to many of the community’s many non-profit organizations as they embraced those various charitable organizations and their endeavors. Both 2025 Sunrise Club President Rebecca Snyder and event chairperson Bill Letendre were extremely pleased with the venue and the assistance given to the club. “We really couldn’t have found a better partner than the church for this, our first event.”
The Sunrise Rotary Club meets on Tuesday mornings from 7:00 AM until 8:30 AM at Stonewall’s Restaurant, 551 South Collier Blvd., across the street from the Hilton Beach Resort and Spa.
