Sunrise Rotarians Holiday Dinner Party

Posted

Over forty Sunrise Rotarians, spouses, and significant others came together last Friday evening to enjoy a Christmas gathering at the home of their President, Rebecca Snyder, and her husband, Neil. The holiday party was catered by Marco’s Chef Laura, with attendees enjoying a traditional succulent prime rib dinner carved by Chef Laura’s talented staff.

Attendees were welcomed to the evening’s festivities by both of the Snyders. Rebecca Snyder is presently the 2024-2025 Sunrise Rotary President. Neil had previously held that same position only a few years ago before eventually rising to the post of Area Governor in Southwest Florida.

Rotary is one of the world’s largest service organizations and is neither political nor religious in nature. It concentrates its efforts on providing service to others, both here in our own nation and throughout the world. It has been one of the driving forces in conquering polio throughout the globe, aiding in the elimination of hunger, providing clean water in undeveloped third world nations, and providing improved health care in many of those same nations.

The club meets on Tuesday mornings from 6:45 AM to 8:00 AM for breakfast and a short speaker’s program. All are welcomed to attend on any Tuesday morning to learn more about the organization.
