Local teachers thank the Marco Island Area Association of Realtors® for their generous donation of school supplies.
A group of Realtors and Affiliate Members of the Marco Island Area Association of Realtors® met upon Tuesday, January 7th, to pack up donated school supplies for our three local schools. Between mid-December and early January, MIAAOR Realtors and Affiliates purchased supplies that were on teachers’ Amazon Wishlist for their classrooms and had them delivered to the MIAAOR building. Then they gathered and unpacked over 15 boxes and organized them into bags. It was like opening Christmas presents all over again! They divided and conquered by delivering the supplies and a pizza to each school and were greeted with big smiles and gratefulness. It has been a great experience to receive the appreciation card sent back thanking them for their donations.
As an association that enjoys giving back to our community, MIAAOR plans to continue this tradition for years to come!
