‘Purrs and Paddles’ Pickleball Tournament

For the Love of Cats, a non-profit rescue organization committed to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Collier County is hosting its first annual ‘Purrs and Paddles’ Pickleball Tournament on May 17th and 18th at East Naples Community Park. The tournament will be professionally managed by the USOP National Pickleball Center. This weekend-long community event will feature food trucks, a health/wellness and shopping vendor village, 50/50 raffles, chance raffle baskets, and great DJ music.

For the Love of Cats welcomes all player levels to enter the tournament. All proceeds help save the lives of cats and kittens in need. Players can register for the tournament at https://app.pickleballden.com/external-tournament/8251094.

“Pickleball has become an important part of our community,” says Jan Rich, Founder of For the Love of Cats. “We are excited to partner with the USOP National Pickleball Center, the Pickleball Capital of the World, to ensure the success of our tournament. This super fundraising weekend will allow us to continue helping more underserved families with their cats in need and increase our resources for our TNR (trap, neuter, return) program. We invite everyone to come to play, watch, eat, drink, and donate!”
