NCH Celebrates 40 Years of Care on Marco

We’re excited to mark 40 years of NCH care on Marco Island with a special event later this month. We invite the whole community to an open house, where you can hear about our new, expanded urgent-care facility being built on Heathwood Drive. Until that opens, we also continue to offer extensive services at our existing urgent-care center, which has the only emergency medicine board-certified physicians on the island.

Last spring, crews broke ground on the new 25,000-square-foot facility, which is expected to open by autumn. It will feature 12 private exam rooms, a triage room, a lab, updated X-ray and CT-scan equipment, medical offices and more. This will ensure people in and around Marco Island can get a variety of high-quality medical services in one convenient location, including diagnostics, treatments and preventive care. Patients will also receive direct access to the entire comprehensive care NCH provides – giving patients peace of mind that their needs will be addressed by an integrated team of experts.

Meantime, the existing NCH Marco Island Urgent Care is open seven days a week. It includes imaging, lab draw stations, free blood-pressure checks, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, primary care, pediatric services, speech therapy, and physical therapy.
