The Marco Island Academy Interact Club has been recognized with the prestigious 2025-2026 Zone 34 Interact Award, honoring the club’s outstanding commitment to service, leadership, and community involvement.

Interact is a youth service organization sponsored by Rotary International. Its mission is to foster international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a worldwide fellowship of young people united by the ideal of service. Through Interact, Rotary advances its vision of bringing people together to create lasting change in communities around the world and within themselves.

The Marco Island Academy Interact Club is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Marco Island Sunrise, which supports students in developing leadership skills while making a positive impact locally and globally.

To earn the Zone 34 Interact Award, clubs must meet a variety of criteria established by Rotary International. Requirements include conducting community service projects, holding regular meetings, participating in fundraising activities, supporting international service initiatives, and collaborating with other Interact clubs throughout the region.

The award recognizes the dedication and hard work of the club’s student members who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to service during the past year. This recognition reflects the club’s continued efforts to serve others, strengthen community connections, and uphold the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.”
