Marco Cruise Club Members recently rallied together to celebrate Mardi Gras at Jolanta and Marian Morys beautiful home on Marco Island. Guests arrived dressed in purples, gold and greens, adorned in beads and masks. There was even a Jester who joined in the revelry for this festive event.
Dinner included traditional Cajun shrimp with rice, King cake(s) with small plastic baby’s hidden inside for guests to discover. Beignets were served along with a traditional New Orleans drink, Sazerac on the rocks. Games followed starting with a traditional bead toss between couples. Everyone had a lot of fun.
Long after the sun had set, the gas lights and fire pit glowed while a waxing crescent moon became visible high in the Western sky. All adding to the magic of the evening. A big Thank You goes to Marian and Jolanta and family for sharing your home and the wonderful homemade Cajun food that you prepared. It was a great party leaving everyone looking forward to what's next. marcocruiseclub.com.
